Junior Female Developers In Ukraine

Helping women affected by the war in Ukraine

When the war in Ukraine started, we noticed a pattern - women of all professions being displaced by the war. Companies closing, factories destroyed, industries haulted. They were left without a job and often, without a career.

So we had an idea and launched a program specifically for junior female developers in Ukraine. These women might be junior developers but they are not junior people - they are experienced professionals in their respective careers which were disrupted by the war and are now transitioning into tech roles such as development.

What we are trying to do is match these women with startups that can provide mentorship and support and make this a valuable and benefitial experience for both sides. It's not for every startup, but if you can provide support with a mentor or senior developer, you can take on an almost-free junior developer. It's a little risky, but you'd be giving a promising junior developer a chance to grow and help your company and their family.

Like with everything else we do, the idea is to not make a profit. See our mission for more info.

And it Worked

We've 9 junior developers in the last year or so and we're just getting started! Take a look at the amazing responses from both clients and junior developers in this program. And if you want to help, let us know.
